Filip was born in 1989 and got into photography as a child thanks to the first compacts used by his father. But the real passion for photography only developed with the arrival of the first iPhone and the digital reflex camera. At first he was mainly interested in landscape and documentary photography. He worked professionally as a newspaper editor, where in addition to writing he also played the role of photographer and devoted himself to classic reporting. But over time he became more and more attracted to life in the streets and natural moments of everyday life. Today he focuses mainly on street photography. What fascinates him most are the stories of everyday life — the ones written by life itself. His Leica is his sketchbook with which he writes down the world around him. He believes that for a good photo you don’t have to travel far; you just have to look carefully around you.
Filip se narodil v roce 1989 a k fotografii se dostal už v dětství díky prvním kompaktům, které používal jeho otec. Skutečná vášeň pro fotografování se ale naplno rozvinula až s příchodem prvního iPhonu a digitální zrcadlovky. Zpočátku se věnoval hlavně krajinářské a dokumentární fotografii. Profesně působil jako redaktor v novinách, kde kromě psaní zastával i roli fotografa a věnoval se klasické reportáži. Postupem času ho ale stále víc přitahoval život v ulicích a přirozené momenty každodennosti. Dnes se zaměřuje především na pouliční fotografii. Nejvíc ho fascinují příběhy všedního dne — ty, které píše sám život. Jeho Leica je jeho skicák, kterým si zapisuje svět kolem sebe. Věří, že pro dobrou fotku není třeba cestovat daleko; stačí se jen pozorně dívat kolem sebe.
